What a little gem of a place. I've been visiting the shop for a few weeks now. The quality of food is exceptional. Kippers are the best I've ever eaten, big, meaty, tasty. Prices are good too. We've also been buying the local honey which again, is exceptional. All complimented by superb friendly customer service, welcoming and helpful. For smoked fish and honey, I wont go anywhere else now.

Disgusting, old and smelly rabbit meat. We have contacted the company about it but they’ve read the messages and decided to ignore them. I don’t know where the positive reviews come from but we definitely don’t have a good experience with this company. Horrible quality rabbit and non existent customer service.

I am rather shocked, having used Barony for several years, to be leaving a poor review. However, my most recent order included mussels that were frankly awful - many smashed, a majority of the rest dead and to honest, stinking. They also leeched smelly juice over everything else. The smoked salmon I hope will be as good as ever. But the reason for ordering was the whole beef fillet offer. And while it does look tender and is very well trimmed, it is pale and wet. Certainly doesn't seem dry aged. Left somewhat perplexed as to what has gone wrong.

I have tried 4 top-notch smokery companies for hot smoked salmon recently, and this is the absolute best! First rate flavour. And it was shipped to south west England within two days. I'll be buying again from Barony for Christmas.

We go here for a treat. If you enjoy fish then worth a visit for a lovely fresh selection. Had some very nice monkfish. Some good frozen options too. Crispy shredded chicken very good value prawns. Can be very busy at weekends in December but worth the queue.

The quality of the food is exceptional and the personal service is second to none. The prices are good. Love the anchovies and chorizo as a tapas. The smoked produce are delicately done;Ronnie and his team are committed to quality and deliver it.
