there wasn't any barley, least none that was made into beer or whatever, they weren't mowing, probably due to the time of year to be fair and there wasn't a farm. there was a bunch of cows in a field nearby I suppose, but they had done all cow pats everywhere and we didn't fancy it much cos the kids had jesus creeper sandals on and white socks.
it's probably better if you bring your own beers, wear wellies and go when it's warmer weather.
