Absolute little hidden gem. Modest but absolutely delicious.

Bread was light, and fillings were uniquely spiced and flavoured.

Delicious baked goods and nice coffee! Reasonable prices and good service.

We got the butterscotch and milk chocolate cookie and the cinnamon bun and both were extremely good!

They had a few sandwich and toastie options as well as a cauliflower soup when we went.

There is both indoor and outdoor seating.

I have recently started attending a weekly baby class in the hall next door and have visited the bakery 3x in the last 2 weeks.

The food is excellent & the service is always friendly and helpful. I love the fact the menu changes months as Im excited to try lots of new things.
I wished bread was on sale everyday though as the focaccia is so delicious

Without a doubt the best bakery in Kent - I’ve cycled 2 hours and driven 30 minutes and would walk 8 hours if I had to just to get one of their cookies.
If you go after 11am they do toasties and sandwiches and they’re also incredible - I highly recommend the cheese and kimchi.
Also the coffee is 10/10
Service 10/10, so friendly and smiley and just such a nice vibe all round I’d like to spend the whole day there

My favourite cafe hands down!

Simple yet still has a strong artisan vibe with the best everything - cakes, breads, sandwiches, yoghurt, smashed avocado, soups plus drinks like matcha, spiced apple, cappuccino, babyccino etc.

It’s a huge bonus that it’s steps away from the playground if you have kids. Plus you see plenty people with doggies come by due to the surrounding Leybourne chase fields and walks.

My favourite coffee shop! Food & drink always incredible and made with care. Staff are so friendly and the whole place has a really positive feel. Dog friendly too which means you can visit at the end of a walk which I love 🐾✨

We were recommended Average Doughs Bakery as a MUST place to visit & we weren't disappointed.
I had the sourdough cinnamon bun, which was so fresh & tasty.
We sat on the benches outside, enjoying the sunshine, enjoying the enticing smells coming from the bakery... so we went back in for some cookies to take home.
We look forward to coming back soon.

What a great find! We've always struggled to find a good quality bakery outside of London but this place is amazing! It's hidden away so you'd only really know about it if you were local but it's well worth going out of your way for some proper, fresh tasty treats! They have homemade breads, fresh proper coffee and wonderful homemade baked goods. 10/10! Definitely going to be coming here regularly from now on!
