Looking for a chili hottish Indian curry, spotted the Tan Y Ddraig 'Dragon's Fire' chicken curry, hand cooked in Wales. Good price. Looked and sounded Asian fusion - but the photo on the cover looked more Indian. Took a chance. I buy and make curries. What a find! It is sort of fusion...different...short of green/red peppers maybe. Great with nan and/or homemade pilau rice; onions and veg gently sauteed in very little oil/butter, toss in (a few!) green cardomoms / 8 cloves/1 cinnamon stick/2 bay leaves/tsp turmeric (care!). After one minute (for spices to release), toss in basmati rice for a minute, add 2 bits hot water to 1 bit rice (water absorption) - rice must have a touch of salt (like pasta has). The big find? The chicken is actually cooked in the sauce, therefore smaller chunks - so much better than the grey reconstituted rubbery chunks squirted with sauce in other cheaper curries. One observation - it's marked three chillies. No way! Just about makes makes two. If you want three, add one big-Schoville red chili yourself! Brilliant curry though.

Had the Chicken Tikka Masala.
Needs to accommodate for oven cooking (can only cook in microwave, oven is so much better). And if doing from frozen, guidelines say two lots of 3 minutes, I did 2 lots of 5 minutes and still frozen, cooking guidelines aren't accurate.

On a holiday to Wales decided to try a welsh curry dish, having picked up a welsh beef curry from your company, all I can say is it was the best supermarket curry I've ever tasted, head and shoulders above anything else on offer. So tasty with just the right amount of spices and heat. Will be on the lookout for more of your products. Great food and thanks

A really nice curry. The Chicken Tikka Masala. Plenty of chicken. It says its mild but we find its slightly spicy. Love if they did a Korma.

They changed the recipe. Now it's really mild and boring. Maybe they thought it was too hot for people. But it's real shame. Will look elsewhere for a decent hot curry. They should just offer the original hot version and this mild version as well.
