I stayed here for 3 nights in April 2025. I had a big room which had a microwave and a fridge. Real milk provided to go with the tea/coffee which is so much better than those UHT things that you normally get. Breakfast was generous and very good, they keep their own free range chickens so the eggs were particularly nice and I brought half a dozen home with me. We were made to feel very welcome by Alex and we’ll be staying there next time we’re taking a trip up this way.

Lovely rooms, enjoyed the rocking chair, comfy bed, walk in shower, very clean. It is next to the railway so some train noise overnight.

Me and two friends had a lovely time at Ash House Farm! We stayed at the family room for one night just to get away from the city. The room was spacious, sparkling clean and cosy with a beautiful view of the lawn. Sue was there to greet us and has kindly given us a lift to the nearby pub for our evening meal. In the morning, a full English breakfast was served. You gotta try the Apple juice that is fresh from the orchard! Sue was lovely and recommended a brilliant walk along the river after our breakfast. Although it was just a short and brief stay, we all had a lovely time!! Will recommend to other friends and family and will definitely be back again for a longer stay!

This place was the UK's best kept secret! We will be telling everyone about it. It even had its own turtles. The food was great, the service above and beyond and we will definitely plan to be back at some stage. A great family running a great place.

Stayed here on Saturday night 22 June 2019. Had a twin downstairs room in the renovated stable. Great room, big shower area, wardrobe space, fridge and great choice of tea coffee. Had a brill sleep in a comfy bed. Great breakfast with quaility locally sourced produce. Sue and her family ware lovely hosts and the gardens especially the rose gardens are superb. Thanks for a great stay 🌻

We spent a weekend at the farm in January and used it as a base for exploring the Chester area. I picked it in part because I'd enjoyed Farm Stay B&Bs before and in part because it had a room arrangement that suited us (an adjoining room for a child). We arrived in the dark but nevertheless were able to find our rooms OK (Sue and her husband were out for the evening but gave us good directions). It was lovely in the morning to have breakfast in the wonderful old house and beautiful 18th century dining room. We were the only people there and I very much enjoyed the privacy. We would certainly stay again if we were planning a trip to the area.

Two more overnight stays at my favourite B&B June 16th and July 2nd. Have used Ash House Farm for many overnight stops over the years. Always excellent. Warm friendly service. Sue was great and on her retirement and daughter in law Alex taking over nothing has changed, great service with a smile. Room, breakfast, location, Love it. Hope to be back next year if not before.

We stayed for a night while attending a family wedding nearby. The barn conversion consisted of 4 rooms , the room we stayed in was plenty big enough , it had everything we needed and a lovely big bed. Breakfast served in the main farm house was very nice and filling with a lovely family atmosphere. It’s a working farm with a really nice, friendly family who own it .
