Had a disappointing experience here. My mum ordered 1kg of lamb, asked for it to be cut into curry-sized pieces, but only received 875g despite paying for the full amount. She hadn’t asked them to remove anything, so there was no reason for the shortfall.

I’ve had similar experiences myself! staff have quoted one price initially, then increased it at the till without explanation. Feels dishonest and untrustworthy. On top of that, the staff are cold and unwelcoming, making the whole experience even worse.

Won’t be coming back. If you’re in the Chingford area, it’s worth taking a short bus ride to Walthamstow Market for better butchers that are honest and actually value their customers.

Generally pleasant staff.
Buy in person when you can see them cutting the meat. Always get what you ordered.
Don't request over the phone and pickup, as they have a habit of swapping out meaty pieces for bony.

I would definitely give it a five star . Staff are very friendly and always greet you with a warm welcome. Fresh Halal meat and good quality poultry . Visiting the place is a must. They have additional fresh veg and fruit . Give it a go and see for yourself.

Staff members have now refused to serve three people of colour on three separate occasions, coincidence? Given a star as they were not bold enough to actually say get out I'm not serving you, just really busied themselves doing everything but serving the black customer which they found very humorous!

Great meat and poultry very fresh, they have full range of Asian grocery. Staff well presented and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Empty freezer and shelves, the owner does care about the shop, people often complaint about non professional attitude of the shop owner. One old man work hard in butcher section though.
