Gorgeous little farm. The staff are super friendly. My daughter and I had a pre arranged visit to meet and feed the meerkats. We sampled some of the cakes in the cafe which were delicious. Could use more animal based gifts in the gift shop though. Still, we absolutely loved it.

Excellent place to take children £5 for a family of 5 includes parking and a brew, Feeding and petting the animals £1 for a bag of feed, small kids park,cafe, gift shop, flowers, toilets, fishing area and fishing area for yound children to learn and dog friendly. Will definitely be going back

What a great day out we had! I went with my grandsons, 3&5 and they said they would be happy to go again, high praise from my 2. Food was good and reasonably priced and they also enjoyed the playground. We will be back, thanks for a fab day

We visited yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It is very affordable and there’s enough there to spend a good amount of time, making it a fabulous day out. You can feed the animals and see them closely. There was owls, eagles, horse, ponies, cows, sheep, deers, black swan, ostrich, pigs and plenty more animals I’m missing some. There’s a garden centre, cafe, and an adventure play area. The staff were also lovely, I don’t see how you can complain (after reading some of the reviews), for the price what you get is amazing! Thank you to the staff for all the hard work you do, you can see the animals are well looked after. We all loved it and will definitely be back!

Brilliant day at Applecast. The Grandchildren loved feeding all the animals and there was a special summer special happening when we visited. Bubbke lady was amazing and the kids got to produce their own bubbles as well. Little fairground games with a free prize at the end. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. For £5 for a family if up to 5 I don’t think you can beat it.

Lovely farm with lots of different animals to see. The area is nice and quiet. The cafe and garden centre are great. We enjoyed the visit.

Amazingly cheap for the experience you get, got to meet many different animals, had a mooch around the garden centre and hand fed some deer ! All in all, a wonderful day out
