Have using Animaltastic for Badger/Bird/Mantis supplies for many years. The prices are competitive and they normally hold all items in stock ( need to check re flies and crickets first). Staff are always helpful and very friendly, would recommend highly.

Animaltastic is an excellent small pet shop, surprisingly located in a neighbourhood shopping precinct. It has a very comprehensive range of products, and for those of you who remember the days of going to pet shops to look at the animals, you can do that (they encourage a tip if you only want to do that). There is a good selection of gorgeous birds, and usually rats, mice and Guinea pigs. Their attitude to prospective purchasers is good - you need to show that you have suitable accommodation for your pet before you will be allowed to take it with you.

Extremely helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable. Took the time to explain about care, health of the animal we purchased, we were given two pages of guidance. The animals had lots and lots of enrichment items in their cages and looked very cared for.

Brought home my two gerbils from here a week ago now and they have settled in beautifully: such friendly and curious little things that just want to play. Staff were super helpful and knowledgeable, happy to and able to answer questions on the specific animals we were taking, clearly have a lot of love and care for the animals they look after. Animals kept in decent sized enclosures with plenty of enrichment and seem happy as anything - they also seem to be super healthy (unlike in some chain stores). They handle the animals daily so are they are super used to humans and love their playtime. Would highly recommend this as a place to find your small pets.

Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. This is the only pet shop I go to if I need help or have any questions. And they take very good care of the animals and birds they sell. Also the shop has everything anyone would possibly need to take care of our pets.

My daughter wanted a hamster. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. They gave her a lot of information and let her really take her time to pick the one she liked. Upon bringing it (Meko) home we found that he was a lovely little thing that loved cuddles l, so definitely been handled a lot. And he settled in to his new home well. Would definitely recommend Animaltastic to anyone for top quality pets.
