I visited the Crediton branch 10/05/25 and was served by Neil Tremlett.
I made an enquiry a few weeks ago for Honda lawn mower wheel parts. I had the part number and I assume it was Neil who explained it wasn’t held in stock but it could’ve added to the next Honda order. He rang a few days later to say they’d arrived and said it was no problem to hold onto them as I’d discussed cycling out to collect them.
The weather has been so naff it’s been a couple of weeks. Neil rang again to remind me/check I still wanted them but again no hurry to collect.
So today, good weather and I rode out. Neil saw the Lycra and knew who I was, got be the bits and we got talking about cycling and he said he’d started working there two months ago.
I don’t think basic good customer service is recognised and applauded enough. Its rare and stands out to me. I got the feeling his service would have been the same for a £500 mower as it was for my £13 wheel spacers.
He was great and they’ll be my choice next time, mainly due to the good service.

Very disappointed with the Customer Care we have received from Andrew Symons, Crediton branch. We brought our tractor second hand from a local farmer who recommended them as an honest good company. Unfortunately we have found this not to be the case to the amount of £3,746.50 for labour alone!! When collecting the tractor yesterday there was still an error code which took 30 minutes to fix and Air conditioning still not working although stated on the bill it is☹️I would suggest if the mechanics are not sure of the problem you ask for a quote!
