This small artisan butchers has a fantastic range of pies and sausages, but as they are homemade they run out, so be early for the bezt choice. As a pork pie connoisseur Allendale butchers has the finest pork pies I have ever eaten, from the crisp short pastry to the substantial pork filling and hint of nutmeg. 10/10 !

Called in on our whistle stop tour of the area and filled our bags with super local sausages, some fabulous blue cheese and locally produced lamb shanks. We treated ourselves to very tasty homemade sausage rolls ( they didn’t make it home 😋) Can’t get better than locally sourced meat in a very friendly butchers

We called in tried steak pies, tasty and packed with meat. Delicious. The shop is under new management. Also got chops and steak which cooked well had good flavour. Good prices for superior quality would recommend.

Fantastic pie shop. They are sooooo tasty! We went back several times to make sure we literally ate all the pies.

We also bought some mince and it made a delicious spag bol.

The butcher was super friendly too.

Thoroughly recomend and can't wait to go back for another pie or three.
