A beyond perfect experience! Went to the cafe and had the veggie breakfast which was so reasonably priced and really huge! Tasted amazing too! Even gave us oyster mushrooms. The staff were SO pleasant, efficient and just generally had a really great vibe. I asked for 3 mayo’s for our massive table and the lady bought us 4 🥹 don’t normally leave reviews but I was moved to because of the amazing experience we had. The attention to detail was amazing. Thank you so much to the staff for a lovely experience, your effort has not gone unnoticed! Bloody blooming great job 👏

Me and Wilson (my GD puppy) absolutely love going to Algar Lodge it’s the best dog friendly farm shop around. Everyone is so kind and welcoming despite his size they always make us feel comfortable.
The food is amazing and the treat counter has too many delicious options it’s hard to leave without something you didn’t go into buy 🤭
Highly recommend this lovely place to everyone with or without dogs!!

Lovely shop and cafe, we came specifically to sit outside. Was a lovely kofta bowl, the dog loved the grass area, and we bought some nice plants and sweet treats too. Thank you.
If I could only change one thing it would be to not get quite so many stares for wearing a mask still, but I understand many people are in better health and no longer have to mask, and I found the actual employees/staff to be perfectly friendly and normal with us.

I had a delicious breakfast here. It was super busy and had to wait a while for a table but im glad we waited. I ordered a kids breakfast as I wasn't massively hungry and it was very yummy. I had a side of toast and my friend had the breakfast burrito.

Absolutely amazing !

Food from both the cafe and farm shop is fantastic and great quality this is a farm shop done right !
so much to choose from ,quality fresh produce ,baked goods,healthy snacks and meals to choose from. They also change it up very often so you won't get bored ,staff are absolutely amazing all happy to help with anything , you haven't been to a propper farm shop if you haven't been here recommend 1000%

Great farmshop with lots of local produce and products on offer.

The cafe offered some nice food, although lacked a range of lighter breakfast/lunch options. The portions were very large, which was great. The vegetarian breakfast was superb and the sausage Patty muffin with bacon and egg was delicious. Unfortunately the sauce coating the loaded chips was very sickly and overpowering and one of our meals was bought out 10 minutes later than the rest of our meals.

Overall a superb farm shop and a good cafe.
