Visited in summer (late review) and I've been dreaming about Ahh Toots cakes ever since.

Tried 3 slices (Carrot, Guinness and milk cake) and all 3 were super moist and delicious. The milk cake was the highlight for both of us.

Also tried some of their soft drinks and iced tea. Pretty good but the baked goods are the main draw.

Staff were friendly and upbeat despite the long queue and tight space inside ordering room.

All I can say is if you guys ever want to open a second location elsewhere in the UK, please let it be Manchester!

If your looking for something a little different Ahhtoots is great place to visit. The building must be one of the oldest in the city and they have loads of interesting decorations inside. All of the cakes are made in-house and you can tell they really care about the flavours. I went for an apple and caramel cake while my mum went for a lemon. I saw many people take away cakes so that is also a good option if you are wanting to have something at home. The staff were really friendly and helped us choose which cake to get which was helpful as it was suck between to options.

I have never gotten a chance to buy anything from them because of the loooooong queue. BUT today I was really lucky 🤞 I somehow reached on time and finally got to taste their lemon meringue pie and chocolate cup cake. Well the word DELICIOUS won't justify the taste honestly. It tasted more than HEAVENLY ✨ So fresh so tasty. Next time if I get lucky again, I will buy their black forest cake before it gets sold out in a couple of hours 👀 And the staffs are super super friendly. They also have a couple of seats but mostly they are a takeaway bakery. Also, prices are incredibly pocket friendly compared to the portions we get ✨

Brilliant selection of food! Can't wait to go there again as went twice this bank holodays to get my lactose intolerant partner to try it and then my lacto-vegetarian parent to try it!

Absolutely love this place and would recommend it to anyone! Will be going again as they are really lovely too!

Ordered the salted caramel chocolate mini egg cake and it was amazing! 10/10 flavour and texture and I was given some extra mini eggs too. It’s £6.95 which I would consider expensive normally, but you get a huge slice so it’s worth it! My friend recommended we come here and I’ll definitely be returning.

Finally tried Ahh Toots and I’m a believer now.
The cardamom bun is to die for; the cream at the bottom caught me by surprise in the best way. The tres leches was soft, milky, and saturated just right, not runny, but with that buttery consistency that makes it rich and creamy without falling apart.
I can’t remember the name of the last dessert I picked (hot something bun; I remember she said it has custard and croissants), but I don’t regret any of my choices. None of the desserts were overly sweet, which made them even more enjoyable for me.

As for the service, it was okay. Nothing exceptional, but not bad either. I will say, the first time I walked in to make an enquiry, the lady who served me had an attitude. I’m just glad I wasn’t met with that same energy today, because I honestly wouldn’t have had it for the second time… lol.

I felt like i had stepped into the past! Everything from decor to furniture has a beautiful old world charm about it. There were easily more than 10 different cake options, on top of cookies, and all looked equally delicious. I settled for a tres leches slice with a decaf cappuccino & paid approx 10£. The cake was moist, but very sweet for my liking. Coffee was good. I am looking forward to going back with my friends to try other flavours - mostly because of the vintage vibe.
One downside of the place is that the network signals are poor, & theres no customer wifi, which makes it impossible to read/work online if you go by yourself.

Came for the cake, stayed for the LOVELY staff (& incred cake)!! I’ve been twice now and love how there are always loads of different vegan options (I’m dairy intolerant and always craving sweet treats I can never eat). The member of staff we spoke to was incredibly lovely & made a banging coffee - we didn’t catch a name but she had chocolate cake on her first day!
