The food here is the best , they sell fresh and frozen meat as well as pie and pudding , fresh vegetables and small light food for walks , this is better than any supermarket, really nice staff, happy to help in any way , and always up for a chat and a laugh, will be back. They also sell stuff like pigs tails, ears, and heads.

Just country life in its rawest form. Lovely little shop with plenty of farm offerings. Everything we bought and we bought a lot was amazing, especially the chicken nuggets which have put me in a position where I will never eat chicken nuggets again. These are the only real chicken nuggets I have ever eaten now the rest I can see them for what they are.

It was okay. The main display units are all freezers with frozen meat and fish in. There is a non frozen counter. So if you want frozen meat and fish, then that's the place to go. If you want farm shop items, then go somewhere else. This is not your classic farm shop. As it does not sell fresh vegetables and fruit etc. It's more of a butcher. But as the sign says farm shop then people like me and also the other person in the shop at the time were confused. Please change your name to butchers as then i will change my review. A hidden gem. I found it by accident, Googling farm shops where it was claimed this is the Hairy Bikers favourite.
There is a fresh butchers counter which doesn't have a huge selection but is of high quality. The real draw here though is frozen meat with a huge selection of game at reasonable prices. I go here for hanger steak, they always have plenty. On my most recent visit I also picked up a huge rabbit and some venison loin which was absolutely stunning. The family all agreed. Going back this weekend hoping to get some more. They also stock a good array of frozen fish, a handful of lovely French pates and a little cheese selection. There is, also parking on site.

Visited today, but the gentleman butchering behind the counter declined to answer a question, so we left.
