Great little farm, plenty of animals to see and feed. Little park was great although a little too big for a nearly 2 year old to play on. Was a quick find visit, overall.. good value for money and plenty to see. (Maybe some fruit on sale in the cafe could be a bonus for a banana loving nearly 2 year old 😉😂) 😊😊

Had my little boys first birthday here this weekend and it was absolutely brilliant. The party room is perfect for some lunch and a couple of games, then we were able to have our own petting sessions which were brilliant. Can then have a look around the farm, and even get some animal feed to feed the goats and sheep. My little boy was even given a certificate to come back for a visit which was a lovely touch.
The farm itself is lovely and the staff were really helpful. Prices are also very reasonable compared to alternative party options. Thank you so much for helping to make his first birthday so special!

Excellent place, perfect for my toddler. We were there over 3 hours, he was absolutely made up. You can tell the animals are well looked after, and the farm is really taken care of. Food in the cafe was great quality and prices are reasonable too. Full day out for less than £15 🙂

We had a lovely family trip today. The children loved feeding the goats, sheeps and all the other animals. They really enjoyed taking part in the petting farm and horse rides. Its really fair priced and there is great space for little ones to run around and explore. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We also got to see 15 min old newborn baby lambs! Absolutely made my day when the woman allowed us to have a quiet peek before closing the gate. A lovely little cafe and shop to treat the kids before leaving. Thank you for a lovely day ❤️

Lovely day. Not a lot of animals there this time (early May). More later in year with new arrivals. Animals well looked after. Very reasonable garden centre. Limited snack meal menu in cafe with some nice cakes.

Definitely more of a petting zoo than a farm.
Staff were all friendly, the girls in the small animals section were very nice.
I wouldn’t say the welfare for the animals was brilliant though. Rabbits being fed iceberg lettuce, which is generally advised against by vets as it can cause diarrhea. Small enclosures for the chickens for the number of them that were in the pens. What seemed to be a lone meerkat (from what I could see) in an enclosure. And need to be careful with the animal feed guests can give, particularly in ruminants.
It’s an okay petting zoo if you live local but I wouldn’t advise going out of your way to get there.

Edit response:

The rabbits were being fed huge chunks of iceberg lettuce, not just a small amount.
It seems from previous reviews your meerkat has been alone for years. Perhaps efforts should be made to rehome him. There is an excellent safari park close by.
It also seems your chickens have been in these pens for about 8 years now, judging by another previous review.
My final point; the horse I saw being ridden should have been retired about five years ago.
