Absolute taste catered for our wedding at Tythe barn. When looking at venues we were apprehensive about booking a venue with a sole caterer but we were able to taste on our visit to Tythe and the food was great. Katie was our catering manager and she was fantastic in the planning process. On the day she came to check in with me and just a lovely person to work with.
The food was incredible! We had a BBQ the evening before too and everything was perfect and plentiful!! We have had so many kind words about the food at our wedding, I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Absolute taste did our wedding catering at Tythe barn and it was amazing start to finish. From the tasting to the Friday night BBQ, canapés, wedding breakfast and evening pizza’s. We had high expectations given prior reviews and as expected, we had so many guests raving about the food and some saying it was the best wedding food they had ever had! They were also so easy to work with, accommodating and responsive. Overall a great experience!

Absolute Taste catered for our wedding in the summer and the food was absolutely incredible. Great sized portions, so no one was left hungry! So many compliments from everyone. From the canapés to evening pizzas and the wedding breakfast in between we literally cannot fault a thing!
They also catered for us the previous evening and there was so much food! I would definitely look to have absolute taste cater for us again should we hold any events in the future!

Encountered this shower at Eastbourne tennis in July. After paying £28.50 + £10 deposit for a 1.5l pitcher of Pimm’s — which was nowhere near filled — the bar server then accused me of a “scam” when I returned the jug for my £10 deposit to be refunded. Apparently my jug was “too clean”. After I responded with a McEnroe-esque “You cannot be serious!” she eventually deigned to “trust” me and paid me back my money. The only scam was charging so much for such a simple drink.

Went to the Burghley estate and stopped at the garden cafe for a light lunch. Well we wished we hadn’t bothered. The pannini’s were disgusting. They were only part baked, looked anaemic and the fillings were tasteless. We were not offered to have them toasted so eating them was a unpleasant experience and we didn’t finish them. I think the Burghley estate should give them the heave-ho as they do not do the estate justice. Everything else at the estate was superb.

I am only giving one star because I have to.... Absolute Taste run the restaurant in my workplace, for the first time in my ~3 years at this company I made a complaint, which everyone agreed was the right thing to do because of what I received for my lunch, was not what I had paid for.

Long story short, the customer service from the management has been appalling, it was implied that I had lied - despite photo and video proof - I was refused a refund and never offered a replacement meal. The tone throughout the email chain was very hostile, rude and defensive from the management. I never even got an apology, just accusations straight off the bat. They have certainly lost a daily customer.

Absolute Taste are a shambles. We had countless "event managers" for our wedding each one having less of a clue than the last thanks to little to now handover. They happily said yes to things at the start only to change their stance within a month of the big day. To top it all off they delayed the wedding breakfast meal by 1hr, meaning our guests were hungry and therefore less engaged in the speeches etc plus we were late for our evening guests as a result offering no apology, compensation or explaination. Had it not been for our venue having exclusively with AT and all our other (wonderful!) suppliers I would have been gutted by the shoddy managment of our wedding day. *Approach Absolute Taste with caution*
