The Friday sermon was unnecessarily long. First a long sermon in Arabic and then an equally long one in English which was not a very rational approach as everyone in the mosque understood English and very few might have understood the Arabic sermon.
It’s a small mosque with hardly any parking and space inside so the Friday sermons must not be so long. People were sitting in crammed positions for more than an hour. The sermon itself was beautiful but the imam must realise that people leave work to come for Friday prayers so timings must be strictly followed and a single English sermon will do!!
