Lovey, calm place. Beautiful views. Gorgeous homemade carrot cake and coffee. Staff very friendly and informative. It was lovely to know their delf was made by a local potter.
Cups suitable for older people as they were easy to hold.

We made a special journey to visit Coan and it’s well worth the trip. Small and cosy with very friendly staff. The coffee is delicious and the tray bakes are amazing. Had possibly my best sausage roll of all time. Thank you 🙂

My niece told me about this little gem that is only 4 miles from me, and I didn't even know about it! So bright and airy, what fabulous views to drink your coffee to. Would love to have sat outdoors, but the remnants of storm Kathleen were lingering. Lovely friendly service, good coffee, and delish tray bakes! Couldn't recommend enough.

Without a doubt, it is the best coffee shop on the whole Peninsula. Very cosy with a great view and a great selection of traybakes. Plus the coffee is superb! Highly recommend!

The most beautiful coffee spot on the Ards peninsula.

Inside is beautifully furnished. Terracotta tables, nice cutlery, and a great view of Strangford Lough. All justified by the really great coffee. They sell a few hot items, but the jammy dodger blondie was a personal favourite.

Have been here a few times and a wait on tea’s / coffees is expected as I understand it’s a small space. Today however, we waited nearly 30 minutes for a tea and a latte. We continued to wait for the majority of this time but raised it when other customers that arrived some time after us were leaving with their orders. Unfortunately not so much as an apology when we did ask. The response from the serving staff member was “I don’t make the coffees” and was quite sarcastic and dismissive in his responses. When our drinks did arrive, the table beside us were also served (they arrived 20minutes after us).

Not the biggest issue in the world granted, but a simple apology for the mix up and chasing up on the drinks would have been a very easy solution.

Venue and Traybakes lovely but just would have liked to have had my drinks with them and not the poor service.

Coan is a lovely little coffee shop at the coast. It serves beautiful cakes and buns, along with limited savoury items. Quite possibly the best flat white in the country !!!
