Stayed at Kirklandbank Farm as working in the area and I must say what a beautiful area it is.

The farm house is very clean, comfortable and was a pleasant place to come back to and relax after a long day!

The furnishing are of a high quality and everything you might need you'll find. Beds were comfortable.

The host was great came over the adjust heating times as we were leaving at irregular times, very helpful.

This would a great place for a familys to stay as there is plenty of space and things to do.

Wonderfully renovated farmhouse in an idyllic rural location. Went as a group of 8 (+infant) to celebrate a family birthday. Due to substantial snow and ice the owners kindly met us in the village and provided lifts up the steep driveway (we later easily drove family cars up without issue). The farmhouse was immaculate and cosy despite the winter weather. The snow made the scenic views even better and we all enjoyed visiting the sheep, chickens and distillery between board games next to the wood-burning stove. We visited the distillery purely as it was complimentary and we didn't want to venture far for activities but it was actually the highlight of the trip with all of the group requesting Highland Boundary spirit for Christmas!

We had planned meals without thinking much about the utensils we needed and did find ourselves wishing we had more oven trays for the size of the group and Tupperware for leftovers but this was really a minor thought at the end of the weekend. Had we raised it at the time I'm sure Marian and Simon would have remedied this as they did the other circumstances.

All in all an exceptional weekend which we will remember for a long time and are so excited to return to. Cannot recommend enough.

Very nice stay. Really quiet and peaceful location. Kitchen, living room, and bedrooms all very clean. Only negative comment is the half mile uphill lane to the house. It is really rough and bumpy. OK if you're in a four wheel drive but in a family car it's a suspension wrecker.

Nicely renovated, with good facilities and a FABULOUS location. The only downside is a mile-long, steeply up-hill rutted track to access from Alyth. You will need a car with decent ground clearance to be able to get to the house, but it's very much worth it when you do, with views stretching several miles over 180 degrees. The location is a good base for walking, and the local habitat is home to beavers and red squirrel, with Dundee, Perth and Pitlochry all within easy reach by car.
The owners are VERY nice people who live in the farmhouse just the other side of a couple of barns, and are more than happy to offer advice and assistance if needed.

Lovely farmhouse! The only draw back is the rough bumpy farm track to access the property!
