SOLD A FAULTY ITEM - ABSOLUTELY APPALLING AFTERSALES COMMUNICATION - Bought a Dyson cordless hoover as a gift only to find when we opened it the hoover wouldn't work. Emailed a man in Donaghys informing him.of this and he advised the hoover would be collected by DPD on Monday (Bank Holiday Easter Monday)! Surprise surprise DPD didn't collect the faulty item so I emailed the man on Tuesday again to enquire what's the story with collection. He said he had now organised collection for the Wednesday. Again no sign of DPD on the Wednesday so I got onto the courier company to ask them if they had been contacted by Donaghys. They said I should have been given a collection reference number by Donaghys if a request of collection had been made by them. I have emailed Donaghys yet again to request this number and now they are not responding back to my emails. I tried to ring the landline number for the company and no answer when I try to get through to the returns department. Funnily enough they had no problem answering the phone when I tried the sales department and when I asked if they could transfer me over to the returns department they said that it was not possible to do that. Instead I was advised to send an email. Which would be great if someone were to reply to me!! So far I've now spent 2 days waiting at home for a courier to arrive that probably hasn't been booked, sent numerous emails that are not being replied to now, I have a gift for someone worth near 300 euro that I cannot give as it doesn't work and ive also had a baby in the last week so this is the last thing I need on my plate. However due to the appalling aftersales experience I've encountered or lack of it I now have no choice but to proceed with a charge back in order to recoup my money for this faulty item as I cannot give any more time to this issue especially when the company is not engaging with me. Shame it's come to this as you try to shop local and support the smaller companies but Ive never had this hassle when buying from the bigger companies so will revert back to them again in the future.

Not only the most competitive prices in NI but excellent customer service. My integrated fridge,ordered Wed and delivered( free) on Saturday. Fitted by Bradley and his brother, efficient, pleasant and wouldn't leave until completely happy with the installation. All roof 5 stars

At first I was skeptical due to the much lower price of my airfryer than anywhere else in the UK but it is all legitimate. The service and assistance of staff is second to none! My large ninja airfryer arrived very well packed in perfect condition. I can highly recommend this company.

Such an amazing family-owned business! I have purchased three appliances already this year and their service, prices and delivery are excellent. Just bought me Samsung heat pump tumble drier for 650 ( cheapest in Ireland). Had no problems getting a refund on a previous order. Very nice on the phone and pick up quick. Highly recommended. Even gave me a fiver off for good measure.

AVOID at all costs—my retired, deaf parents were sold a £2,000 Bosch coffee machine by Donaghy Bros on 4 January 2025 that produced only tepid coffee, so they wanted to return it. After a frustrating back-and-forth of emails with Rorie that led nowhere, Donaghy’s forced an engineer visit without any agreement—despite my father simply wanting a straightforward return / refund. When I finally stepped in and spoke to their Cihar, he flatly refused our right to return it. Even after Bosch advised us to send it back, Donaghy’s still denied the refund, leaving us no choice but to raise it with our credit card company who conducted a full investigation and refunded the entire amount. Stay well clear—I shudder to think how many other customers Cihar and Rorie have tried to pull this one with.

I broke our hob and we had a terrible time with Curry's, so when we found Donaghy Bros we were desperate. We were both really pleased with the quick and smooth service! We called with some questions and made our order on a Friday and instillation was on Monday. The entire process was smooth, fast and easy. We will get any future electronic items from this shop!
