The fact that the port has one of my pictures adorning the wall of their reception area is one of the main reasons I love this area, there is always something going on, especially interesting to see when one of the big ships come into port.
A short walk across the lock brings you to a nice beach with a very nice cafe nearby, toilets are to the East of the cafe.

Shoreham port is a disgrace allowing a ship (the IMI )to make so much noise 24hrs a day. Even if it's not their wharf there must be something they can do ? And for anybody thinking of buying or renting the new apartments in the future on the canal (the old Town Hall etc) don't because you'll hardly get any sleep!

Wouldn’t bother going for any food or pubs around there.. got £100 parking ticket even though I used their facilities and payed for parking in that area but got stung because I didn’t pay the 10p for the text as proof of being in that car park and couldn’t provide the correct proof to fight the appeal and conveniently they couldn’t get the information from the tablet which input on the tablet to show I was in the restaurant using the facilities
