Sad to have to leave a negative review but feel that it is necessary to do so.
On two consecutive occasions I have witnessed dogs in the shop.On the first occasion it was a woman with a particularly dirty, scruffy dog on a lead and she was encouraging it to pull out some bread rolls from a bottom shelf, obviously using it's mouth. This was clearly not a service dog as she was laughing with it and talking to it as if it was doing a clever trick. The law states that even a genuine service dog is not allowed to do such tasks for obvious hygiene reasons.I rang head office and complained..... nobody got back to me about it even though I had given them the exact time that it occurred so that they could check their cameras.
The second occasion occurred yesterday and is the final straw for me.A couple entered the shop ,he was carrying a very small dog as if it was a baby and they wondered around doing their shopping as if they were entitled to do so with an animal in tow.
I made a complaint to the cashier,a young boy,who literally listened to what I had to say but didn't utter one word in response.
I have now done, washed my hands of the place. It is like shopping for food in the middle of a dog walking field.Iceland,EDUCATE YOUR STAFF.

Won't shop there any more as their parking (Excel) is run by racketeers. Fined me even though the machine was out of order and I sent them a photographic proof of that. Their response was pretty much that they didn't care and it was my fault either way ( I repeat the machine was out of order).

Very busy shop with a lot to choose from with some fantastic bargains. Better than Morrisons and Asda.
The woman on the checkout was very friendly who seemed to enjoy her work.

I thought Iceland was a cheap and nasty place until my wife started slimming world. The exclusive supermarket for slimming world I have visited the store a number 9f times. Although its not a mega supermarket where you can get absolutely everything, what it does do it does well. Prices are reasonable offers are great. I wouldn't begrudge food from here at all.

I noticed an offer Linda McCartney burgers, sausages etc which are popular with a vegetarian friend of mine on my last visit.
