We visited over the weekend, having stumbled upon it by chance and we had an amazing time. I couldn’t believe how big it was! There was so much on offer from food and drink, to artisan stalls, a craft marquee, live entertainment and lots to do for the kids. We loved it so much we stayed over in Southport and returned the next day. We’ll definitely be returning next year.

If you don’t eat meat don’t go. Not much choice and the only alternatives to non meat are from stalls that sell meat produce.

Good atmosphere and variety of independent stalls. Food is either fairly ordinary fast food or good but expensive between two buns or with chips. Not enough ethnic diversity (in the food), too much deep fried, very little gluten-free and not a decent coffee in sight - this seems a massive omission given all the sugary desserts on offer.

It was awful. We went with high expectations of meeting a range of local growers and makers of good food. A few stalls were like that butMost of the stalls seemed to be those of sellers of fast food. It was very crowded around them and unless you were willing to be jostled and take the risk of COVID transmission it was hard to get to the stalls and no pleasure.

We tried hard to enjoy it. We had travelled a long way to visit it.
