This is our favourite cheese shop, this is a must visit when in Birkdale, our go to is the creamy and crumbly Lancashire. However today we were tempted by the cheese of the week Bleu D'Auvergne, a soft blue tangy fresh cheese , added a good strong cheddar. What we love most is the good old fashioned customer service, nothing hurried just a desire to make sure customer leaves with exactly what they want

An absolute dream of a local shop. Not too small but not too overwhelming either. Thoughtful, savvy selections of cheeses and edibles (not those type of edibles, mind you) headed up by knowledgeable, friendly staff who know their stuff inside and out. Impeccable place. A+++

The very best artisan foods cheeses and more in this Aladdin’s cave for foodie lovers.
I simply explained a preference in my cheeses and left with a cheese board of deliciousness of the highest quality. When mark tells you the Riverby Wine they sell is worth trying it most certainly is! Liz recommended some excellent truffle mayonnaise and a large Spanish meat platter. Such excellent customer service with a smile and laughter. First class highly recommended and thank you again.
