Really disappointed with this company. We have been with them a few years and never claimed. Several weeks ago our front door was violently blown too far open during a storm and buckled causing irreparable damage. Due to other events happening in our lives we didn’t get round to making the claim immediately. When my husband eventually called a few weeks later to explain what had happened he gave an incorrect date of the event. (I should explain that we are both elderly and neither of us has a great memory!) After some initial quibbling with the lady on the phone (as we do not have accidental damage included with the insurance) they agreed to cover it. Some time later the woman phoned me back and said she had checked the weather report for the date my husband had given her and there was not a storm that day. I explained that he had probably got the day wrong but she triumphantly stated that he had given that date twice!!! She made me feel that we were deliberately lying and trying to scam the company. It is quite obvious that the damage to the door could only have been caused by the wind.

Absolutely fantastic company. I've been dealing with Kelly, who's been excellent. Wonderful attention to detail - very fast, efficient. It's refreshing after dealing with other similar companies. I look forward to working with CM in the future and highly recommend the services for small holders and anyone with an agricultural property to insure.

This is the worse insurance company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I should of run away at the quote stage as it took forever and the guy never had a clue, but I ended up sticking with it what a mistake. They are great at taking your money, but if you need to make a claim god help you they have no repair centres anywhere near you so be prepared to do all the leg work trying to get your vehicle repaired and once you have claimed they will refuse to insure you again.

Cornish Mutual , are Simply the Best , very friendly and helpful staff, fantastic service , and sympathetic in times of crisis. I have been with this company for over 20 years now , and would not think of insuring my property or vehicles with anyone else .
