Always quality meat on show, nicely laid out too. I've used Ballards now for a couple of years for slaughtering my sheep. Very nice, family run company, professional, but in a independent business style. Ken and Anne are always very friendly, which makes the whole experience a pleasure. Highly recommended

I only get to use Ballards a couple of times a year as I look after a friends doggo......... But each of the 4 times I've been here, the products are so good!

I've had steaks 🥩 and flavoured sausages, pork belly and a few types of their bacon!

See latest pictures for my newest visit including the labelled items from visit today 4th October! Meal to follow!

Latest picture of the best and biggest rib eye I've collected from here! Was totally sublime as always!!

Did a mixed grill yesterday with the pork 🥩 and was devine!!!

Brilliant staff too who have been very welcoming each time I've been in and a nice chat the day after to say thanks!

Newest pics are 1 sausage with the boneless pork loin chops! Did them with rapeseed oil thrice cooked chips and butter steamed eggs!

Excellent butchers really friendly bunch been there a long time where we can we like to use a butchers rather than a supermarket ,they had a great selection of meats all sorted locally .

Cant tell you how great the meat is from here. What a gem of a butcher's. Great service, quality meat and honestly priced. 👌

Slab of brisket - made texan beef chilli and was stunning. Went back and got fillet - OMG it was amazing. Honey roast sausages... they just blew my taste buds! Highly recommended.

Very friendly. I bought a few items and they taste fantastic. We had Chinese chicken for dinner tonight and I would recommend them . Taste better and very tasty thanTesco. Sausages tomorrow. 😀 I will be going back .

Easily one of the best butchers I've been too. The meat is of some of the best quality meat I've ever bought. My Grandfather was a butcher all of his life so I've been really spoilt with good quality meat until he passed away. I used to work in the City of London and Smithfields Meat Market was my go to place for meat, but when I transferred to an an office in Kent the hunt for quality meat at a reasonable price was a difficult task. The meat is from local farms and they have an abattoir on site so you know these guys love what they do. I've been to various butchers over the years, but this is my ranked number 1. The staff are friendly and chatty with great customer service. It's a shame I live so far away. It's a round trip of 70 miles so I don't visit often. I used to drive past for my job and used to visit weekly. Can't wait to visit them again.
