I bought the pre-marinated chicken, never again! It was spoilt. I have spent nearly £200 in just 3 visits.the previous 2 visits were on a Saturday and quality of beef and u unmarinated chicken was good. The last time I went on a Tuesday, and got the 2 packs of the marinated chicken- the chicken was spoiled! Never usually buy it as I don’t know how long they have been prepacked and as not frozen, the chances of it being bad are very high! The second pack binned right away without opening! Terrible had a very upset stomach as I ate a bit of the outer fried chicken while trying to really check it for sure! Imagine if young kids had to go for it straight away! You need to watch those packs of marinated chicken! The beef was also not the usual freshness! I will not be spending my money there again - I’m big on quality and this was just not it!

Wonderful friendly butchers, meat amazing.
Bread super delicious.
Gala pie very tasty but I fear the plastic packaging made the pastry soft. Any tips how to crisp it up.

I won't be using this butchers again. We asked for the £29.99 family pack. Micro thin steaks and so called pork chops just as bad.

Best sausage rolls I've had in a long time

Went on Saturday and bought chilli sausages, the 8oz Ranch Steak Burgers and a Garlic Chicken leg from the Butcher's counter and a pizza bread from the hot counter.

I haven't had the sausages yet but everything else has been delicious. I had a couple of friends over Saturday night and we had the burgers. They were the same size after cooking as they were before (as supermarket ones are famous for shrinking)
They were juicy and meaty.
10/10 recommend.
What's even better? Top service, very friendly staff.

I rung up this morning to order a Boneless meat pack and asked me when I would like it, as It turned out I was having to go down to the High Street after 4pm and was told it would be ready for collection today which was so handy for us as was down there later on. Walked in and instantly found our meat pack and helpful friendly staff and was glad we ordered from you as when got home had the steak burgers and was absolutely Heavenly. Thank you and keep up the great work and will be back soon.
Oh the meat pack the various meats look 100% and can't wait to eat them. 😋

On holiday in the area and bought all my meat at Hythe Butchers, I was served by a very friendly polite butcher. All the meat and sausages were great and we really liked the big selection of ready prepared meats for the BBQ, especially the chilli lamb Vienna's and the stir fry. Added bonus of a discount on Mondays 😉🥩. Thanks for the great meat 🍗👍.
