Disappointing Experience – Not What It Used to Be

We recently ordered a takeaway for collection and were given a specific time for when it would be ready. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we had to wait an additional 15–20 minutes, which was frustrating.

When we finally got the food home, we found the portions to be quite small, especially for the price – £42 for a meal for two. Disappointingly, most of the dishes tasted very similar, lacking the variety and depth of flavour we've come to expect from this restaurant in the past. We also received the wrong naan bread – we had ordered a garlic naan but were given a plain one that was burnt.

In the end, we actually ordered an additional meal elsewhere just to feel satisfied. Sadly, this visit didn’t live up to previous experiences. It seems the quality and value have declined, which is a real shame.

Stopped off the motorway on our way home to Liverpool. 10 min's detour. Well worth it. Food was excellent and the service was too.

I only get a proper English indian, mild curry and naan so cant comment on the spicy options. If you want to be a fat boy on a sunday and eat loads, it’s cheap with very good portion size on the 2 meals for £27. Will be returning

A Delightful Christmas Experience!

I recently celebrated Christmas Day at my favorite local restaurant for the second time, and I can't help but rave about the experience! The food was, as always, absolutely lovely, showcasing a perfect blend of flavors that left all of us thoroughly satisfied.

The service was impeccable—attentive yet unobtrusive, making sure our experience was seamless from start to finish. It’s clear that the staff knows how to create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps regular customers like myself coming back.

What I appreciate most is the value for money; the quality of the food and service far exceeds what you would expect for the price. I’m already looking forward to next year’s Christmas celebration here. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

Pre ordered a take away an hour and half before the time we wanted delivery and it eventually arrived an hour and a half after the time we requested it and after having to contact the restaurant again to enquire where the food was. Will not be ordering a delivery takeaway again. Evening spoiled as other friends had ordered a different take away for the same time so we ended up eating separately. Don’t take orders for delivery if you can’t fulfill them!

My favourite Indian ever! I have been going to the Milnrow balti for 5+ years. It never disappoints! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is always 5*. I would not recommend anywhere else.

My son goes here alot, for dine in & take away, it has recently won an award for best Indian restaurant in Greater Manchester.
The food was nice enough, I can't say outstanding, but I enjoyed what I had.
We just had poppadoms to start, I had a lamb bhuna with a garlic naan, my husband & son had the manchurian curry, it is a hot curry, however my son said it was exceptionally hot that night!!
There wasn't much interaction from the staff.
Theres a good choice on the menu.
I would go again, but not in a rush.
