An outstanding artisan butcher. Meat is not just a staple at Cowdrey’s, it’s an art form. The kebabs are fab, the fillet steak is pure heaven. Give yourself a treat and go to Cowdrey’s- but go early to avoid the queue!

What a brilliant butchers. I go there regularly from burnham for either bbq meat or Sunday dinner meat. Not only a great selection but very friendly and knowledgeable too. Today I tied the dog outside and the butcher noticed and put in a marrowbone for the dog. Highly recommend

The father and son who run Cowdrey's in Cookham are horrifically rude, particularly around women and young children.

I have never been spoken to or treated as rudely as I was today, particularly by the son.

In a village that prides itself on its sense of community and is filled with young families, it's a shame our local butchers can't share in this spirit.

We usually call ahead when we need something special. The quality is always very high. Park at the shopping Centre near the station. It’s a short walk.

This is an excellent butcher's shop. The staff are lovely and the produce fantastic. It is a wonderful business and team and they have been fantastic throughout the Covid-19 crisis, hardworking and cheery. We are very lucky to have this brilliant establishment in our village. They are knowledgeable and if you ask give cooking and recipe tips. Sam, a particular shout out to you! Keep being amazing!
