Tayberry catered our wedding on 11 May 2025 at the Wilderness. The day after the wedding, I lost count of how many guests told me it was the best food they have had at any wedding. They assured us no guest would be left hungry - on the day the food just kept on coming! My only regret is not eating more of it and really savouring it - the wedding nerves were too high!

During our tasting I knew we made the right choice as we could see how passionate Simon is about his food, particularly in creating the right dish for you. Lucy is equally as passionate about ensuring you are happy - both in the planning and on the day.

I would absolutely recommend Tayberry - for a wedding, party, or just an intimate gathering. You will not be disappointed!

We recently got married and had the pleasure of Tayberry Foods providing the catering for our special day. What can we say other than the food was exceptional!! Everything was served so beautifully and bursting with flavour. Even two weeks on, our guests are still remarking on how good the food was. From the very first phonecall, Simon and Lucy were so professional and understood exactly the kind of vibe we wanted to set with our food. We enjoyed a food tasting session with Tayberry and they couldn’t have been lovelier and more attentive to us both. (They even took note of me saying on how much I love salad cream and brought me out a bottle on the wedding day to enjoy with my food haha!) From the initial planning phase, right through to the event itself Lucy and Simon from Tayberry Foods were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and every detail was considered. On the evening of my birthday celebration dinner the execution was excellent and even more impressive was that it didn't even feel like they were there. Tayberry Foods, Lucy and Simon were absolutely amazing. I have a severe allergy and they were so accommodating and understanding. They really went above and beyond to make me feel safe, as well as help me with something that is usually quite stressful to deal with. Tayberry Foods took the stress away and I felt so confident in them.

Tayberry catered for our wedding in September 2024 and were incredible! Lucy was so attentive in the run up and during our tasting, she was happy answering all of our questions and put us at ease. We landed on a selection of meats, fish and salads presented as sharing feast board on each table, for a total of 128 people. They were happy to accommodate quite a large list of dietary requirements whom each had their own personal board.

We don't actually have many photos of the food, but that was because everyone was enjoying it too much!

A particular shout out must be given to Chef Hugh. We arranged for him to stay into the evening to man the pizza oven on site. We started with the plan for a "build you own" station, so we purchased all ingredients in advance. Hugh gave commentary on our shopping list to help make sure we had the right volume of various pizza ingredients. He helped us save considerable cost here as I was definitely over estimating! On the day though, Hugh took the initiative to speed up the process and he and his son started churning out delicious pizzas themselves which ended up being a much better idea. Hugh was brilliant.

Tayberry recently provided the food for our wedding at the end of August and I have to be honest, the food and the service was incredible! Lucy and Simon were on hand leading up to the wedding and on the day itself and were so kind and generous throughout the entire experience. The food itself was excellently presented and tasted amazing! Our guests particularly enjoyed the spatchcock chicken and the sharing dessert platters (chocolate brownies and lemon tarts), and the evening pizzas.
We couldn’t be more thankful for their time, quality and presentation of the food, and attention to detail - we’d highly recommend their services to anyone, whether it be a wedding, birthday or event in need of catering.

Thank you so much Lucy, Simon and the Tayberry Foods Team for providing incredible catering services for our wedding! - Tayberry provided canapes, a hog roast for the wedding breakfast and pizza for the evening food. Planning the wedding was really relaxed and simple - Lucy and Simon were very responsive, helpful and provided helpful advice and insight. We also had a great time visiting Simon and Lucy ahead of our wedding to do some tasting in their kitchen. On the wedding day itself, Tayberry had no issues setting up independently and needed no input from us! The food on the day was incredible and we had lots of compliments on the taste and presentation of the food. All the catering staff were highly professional, helpful and polite. Would definately recommend.
