We stayed in the Barn for a week and enjoyed the warm and comfy accommodation. Perfect location for exploring the Jurassic coast and ideally situated from the M5! Lovely hosts, helpful but not intrusive and an all round good stay! Thank for shovelling the snow!

We spent a perfect week in the lovely Barn which was well equipped, very comfortable and in an ideal location.
The amazing view exceeded our expectations and was a delight to return to after visiting nearby places such as Charmouth and Lyme Regis.
The two en suites and separate shower room were ideal and the welcome pack was a lovely touch from the perfect hosts.
The Barn is also dog friendly with an enclosed garden.

We stayed in the Stables, the accommodation was more spacious than the photos showed and provided excellent views, it was comfortable, providing everything you needed, it’s a 4 minute drive to Charmouth which has a shop, 1 pub and beach which in all fairness was the only place we found to walk our dog. The owners of Smiths Farm Cottages were very helpful and accommodating, we had a lovely relaxing stay and recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful break.

A great house with all essentials provided. Was particularly impressed with a travel cot already set-up with mattress and also toddler bedding, ready for use when we got there. All the rooms are a great size and with very comfy bedding and blankets. A lovely living room and kitchen and we were left a welcome basket- such a thoughtful gesture. I really rate this place. Also, on-site parking with lots of room! Location is fab, too, being 5 mins from Lyme Regis. Excellent stay!!!

What a stunning location, to spend a relaxing week. The Barn is tastefully furnished throughout, and the most comfortable, super king bed ever, with high quality, crisp white bedding. As we walked through the door, I was instantly wowed by both the property and the outstanding views from the two sets of French doors. The on-line photos really don't do The Barn justice. Although the kitchen is small, it was plenty big enough for a holiday. Being disabled, I really appreciated the walk-in shower room. A few little tweaks could make this property more accessible. You would find it very difficult to find even a spot of dust anywhere in The Barn. The big sofas are very modern and comfortable, but too low for me to use, so I appreciated the rocking chair from the bedroom. It was a tad more comfortable than using a dining room chair. Dotted around the rooms are discretely placed, beautifully decorated pebbles, showcasing someone's artistic talents! The beautiful patio has great seating areas, and we made good use of the barbecue during our stay. With three dogs in tow, the garden was plenty big enough and very secure. Loved meeting the two horses in the field beside us too. Will and Miranda are super friendly hosts, and we were thrilled to find a welcome basket on arrival. I highly recommend this holiday home, and am currently looking to book our next visit...

Had a lovely two weeks stay at the stables. Owners very welcoming and friendly. Comfortable cottage with well equipped kitchen, clean and tidy bedrooms. Lovely secure garden for the dogs. Centrally placed for visiting many places within the area.

We had a lovely stay in The Stables. The views from the accommodation are stunning and it was great to have a secure garden area for our little dog. There were plenty of places to visit within just a few minutes drive from Smiths Farm including Lyme Regis, Golden Cap and Stonebarrow Hill.
