this is the best little farm I’ve ever been to. I love it so much. The animals are so well trained and cute. I wouldn’t go if ur afraid of animals because sheep walk around sometimes what I love! Baby animals what you can hold and little animals. Before you could feed baby goats with a milk bottle I don’t know if they still do that. I love the events they do. The staff are lovely and kind. If you want to do something with the kids that isn’t to expensive recommend this!!

Lovely place!! We camped for the night and had the best time- staff were so accommodating and allowed us to book at 6pm on our day of arrival! Amazing atmosphere and so picturesque! We had the best time and the animals were lovely and so calm. Thanks so much for having us, we’ll definitely be coming back ☺️

Had a nice few hours here with my daughter (3.5) today. Staff lovely and facilities adequate (hint: toilets along the track towards open fields are better). Very close animal contact, with many wandering free. Basic hot food, drinks and snacks available (seasonal, check before). Definitely a rustic farm, but that's the charm. Bring wellies if any recent rain. Even the rain today didn't spoil the day as we went in the covered seating and did some crafting. Overall a good way to spend some time in the country.

Lovely place. Very polite helpful staff. The lovely staff member doing chick handling with my autistic 4yo was extra patient and calm with him. All animals are super friendly and gentle. Animal feed is 50p a bag (goats and sheep mainly eat it) Parking is limited even with overflows on busy school holidays. Toilets were very dirty and not baby friendly or accessible (from what we saw). All ride-on toys in the main play area were sadly broken but the kids enjoyed the climbing frame. Overall we had a lovely afternoon here and will definitely come back with tons of bug deterrent due to lots of wasps in the main area. If it has been raining bring wellies as it is a farm.

Brilliant day out! Had 6 children aging from 3 to 11 and everyone had a fab time. Holding chicks and guinea pigs with lambs roaming free. Highlight was bottle feeding the lambs. The train ride was very cute and we enjoyed the Easter scavenger hunt. All in all a fab day out for adults and kids. Highly recommend

Lovely rescue farm, children warmly welcomed and able to interact by feeding lambs, cuddling chicks ( and ducklings and rabbits!) feeding the goats, sheep and pigs as well as enjoying the play areas . There’s hot and cold food and drinks available for you as well! There is often an arts and craft area and an activity trail or treasure hunt to follow. There’s even a small beach play area next to a stream , plenty of picnic tables dotted about as well. Bring cash 👍

Great day out with a little one. Great for them to interact with animals, well, mostly goats as they are the ones that roam freely and you can feed them.
Entrance costs £5.00 per person and you can purchase food for animal feeding (£0.50 / bag).

There is a small playground and picnic area where you can sit and eat. They have a food kiosk where you can purchase burgers, hotdogs and some sandwiches. Prices are ok, however no card payments available, only cash. There was also a sign that you can do a bank transfer or PayPal.

Since this is an actual farm, please wear some boots and also try and wear some not so great clothes as the goats will jump on you if they see or smell that you are holding any animal food.

My daughter (5 years old) loves the farm and was very happy to feed the goats, to pet them and spend some time "around" them.

Overall a great day out for the little one to experience amongst some goats and to enjoy some outdoor fresh air.

Liked: Baby animals were nice experience for kids and woodland walk, kids also enjoyed playing in the sand pit until they were told to leave because they can’t be watched by older siblings.

Disliked: Lots actually! This is very basic camp site on working farm. Animals running free so lots of poops everywhere! Make sure to bring wellies! Very small camp site. I personally think it was overbooked when we stayed. Main camp site full so we had to drive along the woodland site, this again was full with limited spaces, we had to pitch on side of the road, to be told the next day we can’t have our car there as it’s ‘peaceful’ location. This was right at the back of the camp, we were last tent. You will receive welcome’ message with unclear directions of where you can and can park and when booking is made you are advised one car per tenet is allowed, but this does not apply to field right at the back called woodlands. Just keep that in mind when you plan to arrive late as main field gets full as it is not that big at all. There is no one to greet you so don’t even worry to check in, no one at the gate to give map or directions.
Stayed there Friday to Sunday, Saturday evening we were approached by ‘lady’; no introduction or anything, we were basically told that rules are that cars can’t be parked next to tent and we need to move. She didn’t hear anything not even that we already had a drink and shouldn’t drive. She was rude to us and kids. My daughter wanted to get water and was told by staff that my business is more important than yours and you have to wait even though she was the first one at the tap. I have only seen two taps on entire field with drinking water, you have to walk around big animal enclosure to get to it so be prepared!
All in all, I would not recommend staying there. One last thing, no washing up point and showers and toilets are port cabins with no light, at both camp fields only two toilets and one shower! Never cleaned during our stay.
Bins at sand pit overflowing, never emptied.
Ground very uneven, hard to find flat space.
Also, not so peaceful, planes starting and landing at Stanstead Airport will keep you awake.
