I cannot recommend this place enough.

I have been purchasing hens from them for over 10 years now and would highly recommend them, I cannot fault them in anyway.

As I live Mid Wales I did on 1 occasion purchase hens closer to home.........never again! They are worth the drive no matter where you live.

They are extremely helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.
Due to the recent heatwave (August 2022) they opened for me very early on a Monday, this was Andrew's suggestion to open out of hours, he was even happy to be flexible and agreed to be open the Monday or the Tuesday.

Hens are always healthy and an excellent price too.

The couple who run this farm are really nice and helpful. We buy our chicken pellets from them at a great price. We've bought chickens from them in the past which were really healthy.

I liked going here as it was my local but recently they limited opening times to just Saturday till 3pm and Sunday till 12pm and closed all week. I work during the week and like to enjoy my weekends and so when it is closed during the week it really tees me off, it just doesn't make any sense. If they had an honesty box and some feed and hay then I'd buy with no hassle but they don't.

After turning up today (Sunday) at 2pm and finding it closed I decided to go elsewhere from now on because I don't have time to tiptoe around selective opening times never being sure if they'll be open or not or have changed their opening times yet again.

I have always found Lowes Farm open and reliable any time I've dropped by and although I would have rather bought from here, I always get the feeling that I am being a burden on them by buying feed and hay off them, correct me if I'm wrong but that's the impression I get.

A great place to buy poultry supplies or birds. We got a started pack with a coup for our kids. The birds were in A1 condition, I have kept Chickens before. Andrew had no coups in stock so kindly built one in 40 minutes as we waited!

Was lucky enough to get 3 beautiful hens from Ron, absolutely excellent service, this is our 4th lot of hens, but 1st from Ron, they are in excellent condition ,can't be happier with them .
