Decent enough shop, but I'm sick to death of the customers blocking/parking on the drop kerb. On multiple occasions I've observed customers parking there (which is illegal) going in and doing their shop. Why can't management insist on NOT serving these people unless they move their illegally parked car?

I've enquired with the post office and they're also tired of it...it's a huge inconvenience anyone trying to access the other shops and one of these days it will cause an accident as I've also seen people waiting by the drop kerb for the parked car to move out. If it was a policy, not to serve these selfish people they would soon stop...alas I doubt it'll change.

Nicely presented shop - well lit and cleanly presented.

Meat is OK, couple of occasions, found tiny 3mm bone pieces in meat (once cooked and it's in your mouth, thats when you can catch the tiny bone pieces). Thought it was a one off, but its happened twice with me and the same with two other family members (as you talk with friends and family about their own experiences with Meat from Zaintoons).

Customer service in butcher section is ok - a reoccurring concern from my extended family member is that at times they've felt, the Butchers won't cut the meat (specifically) when asked by customer - it feels too much of a task / body language gives it away.

Overall - Handy Halal Butchery in Hall Green.

The home of Halal meat and Sofra...Good to know how your Halal meat is sourced and the arrangements of organic products. People it's a must-visit. Keep up the amazing work guys. I've taken a few pics 📸 to show the conditions of the functioning business and it's the cleanest so far..setting the standards high guys well done.

We've been going to Zaitoons ever since it opened its doors and we've never been disappointed. Clean cuts of meat, a range of sausages, shwarma and fresh olives. A small store, it boasts a range of ethnic foods and culinary gems. The customer service is always lovely, which includes the friendly and knowledgeable butchers, as well as the people on the tills.

Lovely helpful staff. Small shop but clean with fresh (halal) meat. Dubai chocolate available at the till, though too expensive.

Finally got to go in and my oh my! Everything for Arab/mediterranean cuisine - and the butcher’s counter 10/10! Absolutely love it - nice staff too. Just next to aldi - talk about everything I need on my doorstep ❤️

I love shopping at Zaitoons, it has a great range of Arab-Asian Groceries. I love the meat options too, fresh and tasty 😋 and I always come back for the chicken breast shawarma!
Also the staff are lovely, especially Lubna on the counter, she has a wonderful soul, bless her. She is always very welcoming to me and my Baby every time we come. (Which is regularly!)

I will NEVER buy meat from here ever again! I attach pictures….

Took me over 2 hours to clean the fat off the lamb meat despite me asking for the fat to be removed. Duplicitous is an understatement! Just look at the amount of fat I have a managed to remove, easily half a kg of fat!

Absolutely appalled, the only aspect that is halal is their name
