You reach a certain age when planting saplings seems overly optimistic! We therefore regularly buy mature trees and shrubs from Green Mile near Retford. Paul in cultivation and Xanthe in the office couldn’t be more helpful. The choice and quality of the plants is always first class. And you can count on expert advice from Paul. Not the cheapest way to stock a garden but the most impactful. (The latest couple of additions are shown in the photo)

I have purchased all of my mature trees from Green Mile over the last five years and all have been fabulous quality. The team are very knowledgeable and have gone out of their way to offer advice and meet my needs. Instead of me visiting site numerous times they have helpfully provided photos to help me make decisions and have always delivered in my required timescales. Highly recommend.

I can't recommend Green mile highly enough. They were great. From showing us round to identify the right trees for our needs, to the people in the office and the delivery driver, they were all really good, helpful, friendly - and patient!
Trees are excellent quality too.
We could have got them slightly cheaper at another supplier but Green Mile only sell you trees they actually have in stock, which reading reviews of other cheaper suppliers isn't the case.
Well worth the money.

I have used Green mile trees on a number of occasions whilst renovating my garden. The service is excellent. Always a pleasure to visit and choose trees, the quality of every tree I have purchased has been exceptional and they are always delivered looking healthy and well cared for. A number of years on and all the trees are still thriving. I would definitely recommend using them.

Very efficiently done from start to finish. The tree looked lovely and healthy. The guys were polite and planted the tree with respect, knowledge and care. Less than a week later it was beginning to leaf. This is our sixth tree from Green Mile Trees. If we had a bit more space we would definitely add more. Hight recommended.

What an interesting afternoon we had choosing trees for our wedding ceremony. Paul was so knowledgable about the enormous stock at Green Mile Trees. We settled on two lovely ones with variegated leaves in pots, which are in the garden now. Fantastic service and beautiful trees. Thank you so much. Would recommend.
