I booked the alpaca trekking for my mums birthday. We had lots of fun. It was well organised and our guide knew everything there was to know about alpacas. We stayed to have a look around the rest of the farm after. I definitely recommend as a family day out - whether it's just for a look around, or if you're booking one of the experience packs. There's play areas for the kids, plus a really cool bouncy castle/trampoline kind of area (if only I was still a child!), and a cafe to grab a drink/bite to eat.

As others have pointed out, the car park could be better signed. Just to make it more obvious that the car park is specifically for willow tree farm, and not the seemingly abandoned school. Once parked, we didn't have any issues finding where to go.

I would definitely go again!

We have just came back from our visit at the willow tree farm and feel a tad disappointed.

After reviewing their website to see how colourful and informative it was we (3x adults) were really excited to visit. Upon visiting we were a little confused over car parking as there was no signs directing you to their car park and instead looks like an abandoned school car park. When we entered the farm we were a little lost on where to start and go as there was no directions and no map given (which may be useful for the future). After walking down we noticed the event tent and was confused to find 4 sheep randomly sat but came along running for food, we headed back to the cafe (which was the entrance and exit to the farm) to ask about food to be informed “we have ran out of food and don’t know when it will be delivered” we headed back out to continue on our trek round. We found an empty pig pen, one goat throwing around an empty food bucket trying to get food to then move on to chew what was of little grass, whilst the other goats were looking at people for food, we noticed a few visitors feeding them grass. We found a lot of animals didn’t seem used to human contact whereas some only looked at you for food. We then entered the reptile room and found what we thought was a cupboard that was labelled “please shut behind you” which was left opened when visitors were in and out to find a few further animals in there. The medical area/sheep pen next door we found to be dirty and lonely.

It seemed to me personally the care and attention was focused on all the play areas for children rather than the hospitality and care for the animals. The shame was also there was no information on the animals no signs to say whether the animals had names or any information about them for example was there llamas or alpacas or both? 😂

Lovely place, fed the goats with Jess who was full of info about the goats followed by a cream tea. Was a quiet day, but I bet it's great in summer if you have children and want a afternoon out.

Lovely little farm. Came with my three year old and we had a fantastic morning saying hello to all the animals, and playing in the sand, in the play areas, and on the inflatable pillows. Very reasonably priced entry, and was nice and quiet on our visit too. Would benefit from a few more signs posts telling you where the entrance is to show your tickets (wasn't hugely clear, staff on booking in didn't help at all when I said it was our first visit and asked where to go) and maybe a map to make sure you aren't missing out on anything. Lunch + drinks + entry and came away with change from £20.

Visited with my 9 year old granddaughter for a meerkat experience, which she absolutely loved. A massive shout out to Jess, who was very informative. Would have like to have seen some information on enclosures explaining each animal, diet, etc. The park was great. We had a wonderful day.

Perfect little day date with my girl. Nice and quiet, fun walk around and feeding the animals. Cost no more than £20.00 for hot chocolate, entry and food!

Lovely little farm where the animals appear well looked after. We had the meerkat experience which was brilliant the kids loved and staff were very knowledgeable. Had afternoon tea which was more a cream tea but was nice. The farm it's self is more for younger kids but would recommend.

We both really enjoyed our day. Upon reading the negative reviews, I was a little bit concerned, however when we arrived it's very different to what folk have said.

It's well signposted, car park is clearly belonging to them & had plenty of parking. It was signposted where to go and the place really isn't that big, so why anyone would require a map I dont know.
We walked with alpacas and really enjoyed it, they were lovely and had just had their "hair" cut. Had a wander around, spent around an hour with them and walked them to their field. Were able to wander around and see the other animals and then enjoy a cream tea after. The place is small, perhaps suited to younger children, with the jump pillows. All in all, great afternoon out.
