Quality fishing on a good old fashioned fishery full of pristine wild fish, definitely not a hook a duck commercial fishery

My first visit today. Big car park but you can drop off tackle at the chosen peg before parking. Fair sized mature farm type pond. Quite overgrown so it looks like you have the place to yourself most of the time. Crystal clear water and you can see it slopes deeply quickly. Far removed from a commercial fishery where you can just scoop them out. Bit of a maggot drowners paradise if you like 1oz to 2oz Perch and Roach, however, if you apply yourself and work a little the rewards are there. Fish to a couple of lbs came to feeder and worm without much effort. Greedy geese do tend to come very close and bump your rods or cross your lines. There doesn't appear to be any public footpaths around so you're not pestered with walkers and dogs all day.

Well worth to come. Its our first time and husband caught a gem..quite a fight with this one. nice quite area.. feels like youre out in the wild.. definitely will go back.

Tranquil fishing, a good old fashioned fishery, not a commercial hook a duck pond, plenty of fish in there but you have to work to find them and very rewarding when you do
