We had the hot dinners and used to love them, but it seems you get less meat now and a load of peas and carrots, not sure they are worth the £7:99 price tag. The staff are all lovely though and some good deals on the meats.

What a lot of people don't realise is the abattoir at the back of the shop does Kosher slaughter shechita for the Jews. This slaughter of cattle has no pre stunning similar to Halal, but with Halal most are pre stunned in the UK some are not. But with Kosher slaughter ( SHECHITA ) NONE of the animals are pre stunned. This cruel method of slaughter should be banned in the UK, I would think twice about buying your steak's and beef joints from here. I can't speak about the lambs but Im sure they are aswell, but I know for sure cattle are killed in this way here !!

The best meat in stoke. Great atmosphere, the staff is very friendly.
It also cracks me up to see the pictures of thieves at the store's entrance lol
