If you want a traditional butcher who knows his trade and produce then this is the place to go!
With a fab range of meats, sausages, bacon and marinated products you cant go wrong.
Unsure what you need for a recipe then you can ask and you will get an honest and knowledgeable answer.
I bought some rump and some chuck steak for a weekend away and both were incredible, the chuck steak was beautifully trimmed leaving juat enough fat for flavour.
Old fashioned values are worth paying for.

I’d give this butchers 10 stars if I could! A wonderful old fashioned quality butcher. Being able to find delicious bacon with rind on brings such happiness,the sausagemeat is so much more meaty than elsewhere,I wanted pork loin chops-how thick did I want them ,did I want rind off or on? Mince and sausages are delicious,basically everything we’ve tried ( we are a picky meat eating family) is top quality & delicious. I like to go in because I’ll be tempted to try something a bit different,but they do deliver locally. The staff are brilliant too,smiling & super helpful.Absolutely A****

Excellent butchers, cannot be faulted. Great selection of meats and always helpful. I usually visit with my dog and they treat him like one of the family, what's not to like. Its a real pleasure to shop there.

Friendly folks and their Ham and Bacon pies are just amazing!!! Literally the best pork pie I've ever eaten. Crisp pastry and lovely savoury filling, it's award winning deliciousness. They're literally 'next level'. (Get there before noon - the pies sell out before lunchtime)

I've also had the dry cure smoked bacon, smoked / boiled ham (the best you'll ever eat) and some great Barnsley Chops too. All top notch.

They have other bits on the shelf, chutneys and whatnot, and they support local businesses, such as the hand forged metal skewers that are available. But for me, it's the meat and the service. 100% ALL THE WAY.

Some of the best sausages I've ever had. Not a drop of liquid came out during cooking, zero shrinkage, and superb flavour. Only here for a holiday but I might leave a kid behind so I can fill the car with sausages.
