Gets really busy on the weekends, which is understandable but unfortunate, it’s a beautiful place with some of the best-looking fish I’ve seen. Always a solid day out here.

First time here, but I caught plenty on the large lake using corn and spam! Swims easily accessible from car parks, but some aren't suitable if you are pole fishing as little room behind.

Decided to take my 17 & 18 year old sons fishing! was met by a woman on the drive who informed me "she had no room" I pointed out to her I could see at least 10 pegs free! still she insisted she had no room! wont be going back again thats for sure! so if your thinking of going to Blundells save yourself the trip! there are far better fisheries than Blundells out there ones that will welcome your business!!

There was nothing to indicate that spectators weren't allowed — only to arrive and be told by the owner that we had to leave unless both of us were fishing

Came here yesterday. Caught one 2lb carp and a very small Roach all day on the pole. I was with other anglers, and they only caught 1 small carp each. We were there from 11am until 7pm. The owners are lovely its only £7 for a day ticket, and it is a well-kept lake but had a slow day's fishing. Tried 5 different baits and 3 different pegs and still only caught the 2 fish all day. There was a match on, on the canals behind the lake, and they seemed to be catching a lot more, so that may be worth a try next time.
