It’s got to be one of the worse tips going, booked for 1100 got onto bay 1330 and tipped @1620.

I got in early than my booking time and I can say that they started to unload straight away, maybe because they were not busy. On this occasion I will give them 5stars for my experience

Hello farm food please invest some money and get staff in office. Only one person on chair checking the stock and sign the paperwork. Completely understandable farm food cutting cost but it’s wasting drivers time. Rant over ☹️

Absolutely shocking service today one of the worst RDC’s I’ve been to.

Got put on a bay and tipped ,bay light went green then waited 15 mins before going to collect my paperwork , no one on goods in that’s front facing so you are forced to wait outside the office in the pouring rain with only a small plastic Perspex for cover, after 20 minutes I popped my head in and after asking for assistance got zero interaction from the office staff and when you do ask how long it will be you are met with “We’ll get round to it when we can”

I calmly explained that even if it took 2 hours that’s absolutely fine but I needed a rough timescale as i didn’t want to be stood in the rain for that time and I’d simply go to my truck and relax, I was met with “We don’t know when it’ll be done” , I again calmly explained that left me in a confusing situation and then they frustratingly told me to come back in 20 mins.

I did this numerous times before watching another driver understandably lose his cool with the office as we were all soaking wet by this point with the rain.

Farmfoods sort yourselves out as what I saw today if it happens again you won’t be getting your stock, set a expectation with drivers that a green light on a bay doesn’t automatically mean your paperwork’s ready, other RDC’s have a staff member bring paperwork out once it’s ready that way the drivers stay in their cabs, another option would be to set rough time scales with driver’s , you can’t just say “we’ll get round to it when you can” and leave us in the limbo without knowing what to do or the process’s which your site adheres to.

Poor place to deliver too
20 bays yet only use bay 1 for suppliers. Staff an warehouse are very slow.

Hope your not in a rush when you come here waiting for 30 minutes for paperwork after being tipped in the cold and not one word form the staff very disgraceful

Picked here for 18 months, No issues. Regular overtime up to 60 hrs, no overtime rate but can abuse the free canteen hot and cold food
