Friendly folks in the cafe, coffee is very good and the Ginger/Orange Tiffin is 11/10! Garden centre is a rare ‘old school’ nursery - worth finding👍

We happened upon Wyatt's completely by accident. Literally by accident as we had a flat tire about 100M away and it was the closest spot to stop. We ended up having lunch in the team room and hung out for a couple of hours while we waited for AA to arrive.

The tea room has a beautiful overlook of the countryside and all of the food was excellent. We started with tea service (loved the sugar cubes), and had a wonderful soup and shared some chips.

After lunch we wandered the gift shop, made a couple of purchases, and walked throughout the greenhouses.

The staff was all very kind during our unintended stay. We enjoyed the flowers and the views of the countryside. I can't think of a better place to have been "stuck" for a few hours.

We are regulars at wyatts. They have a good selection of plants and are much cheaper than other local nurseries/garden centres. The shop is nice if you want to buy gifts or some nice food.
We usually have tea/coffee and cake in the cafe which is nice and also reasonably priced.
They also have a friendly resident cat 😊

What a complete treat! Walking in the flower filled garden centre ! Every plant seemed to be bursting with vitality and blooms. They obviously really know how to grow and cherish their stock.

What a shame then that the cafe hadn't had the benefit of all the stunning bedding adjacent to it.
Plant tubs were filled with dead weeds. The surrounding shrubs/ hedge had been cut back a bit but the prunings had just been left. The wood bark play area was tired and tatty. Many weeds too.
This area is in the forefront of a stunning pastoral vista and sadly massively detracts from it. Such a pity.
With some tlc this place could be another showcase for the Wyatts skilled green fingered horticulturists and add vastly to the overall "eatery" experience. Here's hoping......

Lovely little garden centre with all the usual finding you'll expect, things for the home and a small food hall and of course as with all good garden centres the obligatory cafe serving cakes and light meals, tea's and coffee.
With a wide range of plants from bedding plants to trees, it seems to have it all at reasonable prices.
And there dog friendly.

I presume this place has good reviews due to be near nothing else. We drive out for lunch based in the reviews and to buy some garden plants. On the website it’s says last orders is 4:30pm, it does not say that last orders for food is 2:30pm! Very misleading! Despite having time to buy lunch the menu was poor and what was coming out looked worse. In terms of the garden centre, it looks like it’s been lost to time, in dire need of good repairs. The staff all seem to be children .. how has this place got good reviews? If you want a good garden centre and great lunch go to the Yurt at Nicholsons near Heyford!!

Good parking, well-stocked food aisles and gift shop. At the tearoom, you can eat inside or outside where children can play on a small, enclosed park.
