David Barbour Joinery and the team there are nothing but 5 star. The team are friendly, accommodating, reliable and very talented. As a female working in a very male driven industry, the team have always been nothing but respectful and kind to me. It is because of this I have had a 6 year working relationship with the joinery, with Martin and Craig making my business 100s of gate frames, which have always been made to the absolute required dimensions, finished beautifully and always on time. Wherever and whenever I can, I recommend this family business and its staffs craftsmanship.

I have often had the pleasure of seeing, grand oak doors, windows frames, bespoke elm tables and cabinets being made in the workshop. All made and finished with such care and skill.

The photos attached show the gate frames DB Joinery have make for me, using air dried oak or softwood. My team add the willow to the gates and together I think we manage to make something very beautiful.

Talented, friendly, creative joiners. Ready to visit and invent clever solutions. How to store clothes in a steeply sloping eaves space? Take a look at these photos. The top drawer is very shallow, the bottom goes back a long way. Inside a triangular wooden casing, so no dust!

David Barbour joinery have made three chests of drawers for us. Not only are they of excellent quality and finish, the company has always been a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.
