We had the loveliest time at this splendid B&B on an idyllic, traditional and sustainable, picture-book farm. Maggie made us feel so welcome, including the children. There are only 3 rooms, so we felt very pampered. Everything was perfectly clean, very spatious, comfortable and thoughtfully arranged. Because we decided to use one parent and one child in each room, and therefore didn't have a space to sit in the evening, Maggie very kindly said we could use the dining room or the magnificent garden. The children were allowed to use the toys that were out for decoration, and to bring their own to the breakfast room: it was all very relaxed and easy. Maggie showed them the rare-breed pigs, and the dog Tango was extremely friendly. We were welcome to walk around the farm and watch all the goings-on. The location is stunning, and the breakfast was delicious, made with the farm eggs and honey, local sausages and bacon... Maggie shared very helpful tips about the area and saved us time on the road by suggesting a shortcut. A huge treat, and very reasonably priced! Definitely one of the highlights of our holiday. We will be back!

This may be a little off the beaten track but is well worth a visit. I will definitely return. The warm welcome to a family home set the scene. Whilst the building is old it has been modernised to accommodate today's travellers. It is spotlessly clean and the three bedrooms have breathtaking views across the countryside. As a single person it is good to find a single room and not be charged an exorbitant price. The only downside is having to share a bathroom and toilet which would not suit everyone. However the warm hospitality and peaceful and tranquil surroundings more than make up for this. Add to this a wonderful full English breakfast cooked to perfection makes for a memorable stay. I was sorry to only be there for one night and hope to return as many things to see and do in the area.

We have visited this B & B on three occasions when attending the British GP at Silverstone. It's about a 25 minute drive from the circuit (even on race day). Maggie is a truly lovely host who makes you feel so welcome and cannot do enough to help you to enjoy your stay. After all the noise and chaos of the track all we could hear was the birds singing - bliss! The room is not ensuite but the toilet and bathroom are just across the hall and you have a washbasin in your room. This is not a problem as you are staying in a 17th century farm house. The breakfast was fantastic and cooked to the time we requested. We will return.

I stayed at Broughton Grounds Farm for three nights in early July to enable me to join family and friends who are walking all or part of the 297 miles of the Macmillan Way. This BPE Challenge Walk is dedicated to my late wife and one of my son's friends and a former colleague.||Throughout my stay I was made very welcome, not least by Tango one of the farm's two working sheepdogs. The house is spotlessly clean, my room was quite spacious and had both a comfortable bed and armchair. The bed linen and towels were of good quality. Each day I had a 'full English breakfast' which was tasty and cooked perfectly. My coffee and toast were served warm when I was ready for them.||There is only one consideration which cautions me against entitling this review 'Warmly Recommended without Reservation': none of the rooms has ensuite facilities. This potential drawback was of no consequence to me because I was the only guest at that time. This potential problem is more than compensated by the actual fact that Mrs Taylor's tariff is per person rather than per room. The latter is often a significant penalty for the single traveller.||In a sentence: an excellent place to stay in delightful countryside.

For three years running we have stayed at Broughton Grounds Farm B&B over the August Bank Holiday weekends... the perfect base for our trip to the Silverstone circuit which is about half an hour away... beautiful surroundings and very peaceful.. Margaret our hostess looked after us very well and provides us with the best cooked breakfast we have ever had ..very accommodating, very comfortable a real gem of a B & B and needless to say we have booked for next year already. A lovely couple of evening spent with Maggie at the farmhouse. A beautiful location tucked away in the British countryside with a few great little pubs within walking distance. The perfect place for a few days away from it all!

I stayed here while on business in Banbury for many weeks. It is lovely, peaceful, very comfortable and spotless clean. I was made very welcome and would highly recommend a stay here. I travel on business throughout the whole of the UK and this is one of the nicest places I have stayed at. Thank you.

The house dates from medieval times, there are cows and dogs and cockerels, there are views and single track roads, good food. And a farmer and his wife who are lovely. We enjoyed our two nights there enormously.
