Loving the Bear Hug Campers course. John and the team are to approachable. Its been so helpful to get a good source of information when doing my van build. Its making the whole process less daunting and the forum community is active and supportive, all your queries get answered quickly. Also the videos are so helpful, really pleased i joined, well worth it.

Have tried to contact this company by email twice over the past 2 weeks, to offer them some business. Haven't heard anything back by way of an automated message or by way of an actual human . Tried to find a business phone number but non exists. Would like to think there is a rational excuse for the lack of response, therefore 2 stars rather than 1.

John recently converted our Transporter for us and we’re really pleased with the results (check out his instagram page). If you want a indenti-kit plastic soulless fit out (like 90% of the vans out there) then this is not the place for you. If you want a van that is bespoke to you and stunningly crafted and finished, then you’re in the right place. From start to finish, we really enjoyed the design process and we now own a van that we’re over the moon with.

Thoroughly recommend Bearhug Campers & John is a top bloke. The workmanship is to an extremely high standard and the aftersales support is superb. I didn't know too much about either campers or vans in general, so buying one felt overwhelming at first. However John made me feel instantly comfortable with his patient, honest and good natured manner. His collaborative approach is fantastic in getting the end product you want. I recently had installed in my camper van by John at Bearhug campers the following, Truma boiler 4e, underslung LPG gas tank, underslung waste water tank, fresh water tank and filler, both level gages for water tanks. John done a fantastic job and I’m very happy with the quality of the workman ship, John was flexible as I changed my plans in mid works and added in the wheel arches being boxed in, John was very accommodating and sorted no problem. Great guy and very competitive prices. John even let me copy his templates for the barn and side doors, also helped me with plenty of advice and still does now over whatsapp. I can whole heartedly recommend John @ Bearhug campers. I have had a full van conversion with John and I honestly couldnt have imagined anything better. The while process has been incredible from start to finish. Constant message updates, build photo dumps, easy file / manual / photo storage online. Full transparency through the whole build. Sustainable practices. He has met every requirement I had, and some, told me if there were better decisions or if something may mot quite work. I felt completely at ease throughout the whole process. From our first initial call, he took the time to understand me and what I was trying to achieve, and I knew that any decision that may have come up, he would have thought how I may want things.

The build quality is unbelievable, soft rounded edges on all corners, soft close features. And he even made a special barbell holder. Nothing is impossible for this and.
