Purchased a Honda mower, reserved over the phone and collected the next day. The staff are amazing, filled the machine with oil, petrol and tested it while I was doing the paperwork, explained how to operate it and helped me lift it into the car.
I don't believe I've had better service anywhere ever!

I'll start with that my mower was with them long enough I should have probably paid rent...

Now my lawnmower is old & I appreciate parts are not so readily available & was fairly informed it was likely parts might take a little while to source. My gripe is that for the lengthy vacation my mower had, not once did I receive a courtesy call with an update as to the repair. From initially approving the whole repair to delayed delivery dates. Even when I first dropped the mower in for it's initial diagnosis, this far surpassed the provided time frame given & I had to call them to find out what things were going to cost.
Finally after complaining a couple of times about their poor communication & being assured I'd get an update at the end of the day... 48 hours later I had to call them to see what was happening.

So, finally I get the lawnmower back (after paying over £200) go to fill it up with fuel & find all this sediment in the tank. I call them to ask what's going on, to be told rather blasé "we can't check everything".

The two stars are purely because the mower is actually running better than it was when it dropped it off, not because of the service I received.

Eye wateringly high prices and poor availability. Took my business elsewhere, got the job done sooner and at a far lower price.

We bought my father A John Deere lawn tractor for his retirement, I serviced it each year, oil, filters, plug & checkover, after 16 years of me doing it I said maybe we should let WMG do it in case there is nything I have missed, and I am too busy. It was collected and serviced and returned £800, did not start as well as it used to and sounded a bit rough and vibration, about 2nd use it started billowing out white smoke - belt issue, got them to collect and fix, a new pulley needed- why not done before when had others fitted?, no labour charge another £190. Still didn't not run as well, and occasionally stops picking up grass as belts/pulleys not quite corrctly aligned. I will adjust when I have time. So not impressed and I don't think I will be returning here!

What a brilliant service.I needed a chain for my STIHL pruner on Saturday they had none in my local branch at Liss but checked stock at other branches and got one in for Monday morning. They also showed me how and fitted it for me foc. Very friendly helpful staff. Thank you.

I visited Winchester Garden Machinery this morning with a lawn mower that had a problem. I was looked after by two mechanics who were able to quickly fix the problem. I am extremely grateful to them for their time. I would highly recommend this company.
