It's becoming increasingly rare to find mild ale, especially "down south" if I see it on offer I'll give it a try. I think your Midnight Bell dark mild is exceptional, I love it's malty flavor. It's a mystery to me why it's fallen out of favour.

Here in Tythebarn Garstang n so happy to find this excellent Samba cask ale from Leeds Brewery - were very worried we'd never see a good real ale here again after the corporate takeover! It tastes like one or two of the best microbrews we have loved but sadly are no longer with us such as Copper Dragon (original brewer) Golden Pippin - evoking happy memories of great real ales gradually disappearing as are out lovely independant pubs😭
