What a lovely shop! Well curated with a variety of books and knowledgeable owners on hand to give recommendations. I asked if they had any Benjamin Myers books, and was directed to a limited edition non-fiction book which I didn't even know existed. As a promotion for International Women's Day, I also got to choose a free 'mystery' book with my purchase, which was a nice touch and means I'll be able to read a book I wouldn't normally have chosen. Looking forward to coming again next time I visit Haworth 🙂

Totally understand why this amazing bookstore won the prize as the best in the north as it’s wonderful. It has a wide collection of books and ode to literary giants, it has heartstopper pins and sassy shirts about witchcraft, it has a sapphic section and wide collection of Jane Austen merch. Also if you are a bronte lover a place to go. The owner was lovely and items were decently priced. Would recommend!

It was a real pleasure to browse around this excellent little bookshop. It's in an ideal location on the main street, near the top of the hill and only a short distance from the Bronte Parsonage. The two downstairs rooms are filled with a great selection of books, including many biographies written by or about women. There are children's books too, and some lovely handmade children's clothes, stationery and quirky little gifts. I was looking for a book about the lives of the Brontes, and the shopkeeper was not only friendly and helpful but also very knowledgeable. He recommended a book which I bought and am really enjoying reading. The free bookmark was a nice little extra. Well worth a look around this shop. Would come here again if I return to Haworth.

Ordered the Zandra Rhodes biography from here as I prefer to buy from an independent book seller. Wow, what a lovely service! The book arrived beautifully wrapped with a handy bookmark and some info about the store's events. Wish I lived closer, I would attend some! Nevertheless, I will make a point of ordering my books from here in future. Many thanks for an excellent service, I'm really enjoying the book too:)

A lovely shop. I visited today after many years. The lady was very friendly and welcoming compared to other shops I visited which was lovely :)!

Unfortunately, I didn’t get a name. I really enjoyed my visit, a beautiful, clean shop and very well presented. I highly recommend this shop to others looking to visit Haworth. Thanks again I look forward to using my novelty tooth tin :)!

Without a doubt the best independent bookshop there is. Although they're based in Haworth, I consider them my "local bookshop" even though I'm in London. The customer service is truly wonderful. Every delivery is personal, beautifully packaged and wrapped. Delivery is almost always within a day or two of placing an order. Special editions of books, including signed editionsand they are always happy to order anything that is not in stock. Diane who owns the shop is my own personal book enabler! You will never be disappointed if you order from Wave of Nostalgia.
