Order 3 sandwiches after they make 2nd they say not enough bacon for 3rd so wife ended up not bothering (I did offer her mine but doesn't like mushrooms). Staff laughing not really funny. Felt like had to pay for the 2 sandwiches they made. Got home bacon rock hard 2ish we hadn't bothered. Messaged store with photo didnt even bother to reply. Won't be back. The lad was useless.

* Thank you for your reply, however if you don't conduct your business over facebook maybe you should disable messaging on your official Facebook page or setup a auto reply advising this?. I wasn't able to see how much bacon you had as your tray was half covered in I believe baking Paper to disguise the poor quality also how would I know if you had any more freshly cooked bacon alsewhere like you do with pork pies etc.

In regard to the female laughing I check your cctv female concerned was working near semosas section.

The bacon wasn't well done I wouldn't of minded if it was but instead it had been stood too long been kept warm maybe check how long it was since last batch and us getting served it! It's was like chewing on rubber

They stealing peoples money his the price are extremely high
2 kilos of minced chicken breast £29.50 it's a robbery they didn't even have what i wanted! His excuse was its English and fresh and it's the inflation the guy didn't even know what to say his was mumbling around say his gonna make they chicken sausage to take the piss out of me his luky my daughter was with me otherwise he would of been the sausage.
The price was 6 x more then going to a different butchers i went on the next one near bay it turned out to be a halal place bare in mind they was celebrating Eid soon so the have doubled they prices i paid 11£ for kilos for fresh English chicken brast minced and that was doubled the price because it's EID soon so on a normal day it's should of been £5.5 that made me realy angry to realise how expensive Wilson butchers is £29.50
An any other ordinary butchers is £5.5
They should be ashamed robbing all old and retired people who can't go far to do the shopping but this it's extortion it's a robbery this place need to be should down local new need to be involved don't let people go there to be robbed stay away..

Only good at Wilsons, never disappointed. Good hot take away breki and lunch as well, coffee half price of major coffee chains. Also good cuts of meats.

Wilson is renowned for the quality of thier products particularly thier pork pies. Not the cheapest shop in town but nowadays what is. Staff very attentive.

All meat prepacked except for the sliced meat,NOT A PROPER BUTCHERS,far better butchers to be found nearby,living on the past reputation of their pork pies which to be honest are not the best nowadays.

Excellent service yet again for a wedding pork pie! No issues in recommending Wilson for any celebration pork pies in the future. Only thing I could suggest is if they could provide Piccalilli or Branston which would save me having to do a separate shop. This is only a suggestion, not a criticism. Thank you!
