Always a friendly welcome from the staff and we particularly enjoy the offers on beef joints.

We tried a capon for our christmas dinner this year and it was better than turkey we've previously paid twice the price for.

I'm updating my review as I think they've improved over the past few years. They're not the best butcher I've been to, but they are one of the best I know of in Ashford.

I'm still not a fan of their sausages (they used to be excellent), nor am I a fan of the amount of plastic wrapping, but they do have proper cuts of meat that are difficult to buy in a supermarket and it's usually pretty good. I especially like their lamb, which all seems to be Romney Marsh Lamb, which is much less fatty than what you get in the supermarket and has a richer flavour.

I'd give them 3.5*, but that's not possible in Google, so I'm generously giving them 4*.

Bought a piece of sirloin so I can cut into steaks I want, a tray of pork chops and 3 trays of chicken bits. Already had one of the pork chops and it was lovely. If the steak and chicken are as good I will be very happy.
The overall price was very reasonable, so it's pays to buy in quantity. If things are currently tight money wise go and buy the pork chops. They are excellent value.
A very happy customer, who can have jubilee bbq that hasn't broken the bank.

I’ve used the butcher a number of times and in store they offer a great service and some good deals. Online, they persistently miss items from the order, most of time you only realise when you get home and check. When chasing to replace it never happens, won’t be using again, hunt for a new butcher starts

Bought one piece of cote de boeuf on 15 March, already spiced. If I remember correctly it had a tag with peppered steak or something like that. It was 20 pounds and the butcher told us that if we will buy a second one they will cost us only 35 pounds. So we bought two in the end and immediately after arriving at home we unpacked one, to cook it. Impossible. That cote de boeuf has been off and the smell was so awful! So we have thrown both steaks in the bin. Will never use them again.

We always buy our joints here and they are so good. We also have bought sausages, bacon and burgers. Very pleasant staff and they always remember my husband when he goes in (as he is the main shopper). Highly recommend.
