Frittenden Orchard is our new favourite campsite! We've stayed at sites all over Europe, but we've never found one that offers as much space as this. It was also our first experience of off-grid caravanning (we have a twin-axle caravan), and it's completely opened our eyes to the benefits of a site like this.

Diane is a wonderful host—so friendly and incredibly helpful. You can pitch wherever you like, and the amount of space available is amazing. We recommend bringing caravan blocks or levellers to get your setup just right (we use an auto-levelling system, but did see others having a bit of trouble)—though it's really not a big issue.

There are two toilets, always spotless, plus a water point and the cleanest chemical waste disposal we've ever seen. Diane also sells beautiful garden plants and delicious eggs from her own chickens.

We first visited during the early May bank holiday and have been back every weekend since. We're now planning to install our own off-grid system so we can stay even longer—and explore other off-grid sites too.

Lovely host, very fairly priced and set within a beautiful orchard. Very spacious pitches with nobody too near you. My two kids loved it, 4 and 9 year old. Lots of fantastic walks to pubs!!! Would highly recommend camping here. Very accommodating owner. Thank you

If you want a back to basics peaceful weekend away, this is your place.
Diane is friendly and helpful. There are walks in the buttercup meadow, the bluebell/rhododendron woods and the apple orchard.
You are encouraged to find your own space and set up as you like.
All BBQs must be off the floor.
Fresh eggs and bedding plants for sale.
The local pub sells take outs, we bought 4 pints of cherry cider back to our motorhome.
There are 2 toilets and washing up facilities.
Hot air balloons and bi-planes can be seen above from Headcorn Airport.
We will return. 😍

Really nice campsite set in an orchard of plums and apples, surrounded by lovely woodland. Diane the owner was fantastic showing us around and the facilities were very clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend.
